The service
Signatura lets you upload PDF documents, send them for electronic signature via a secure link, and receive a signed copy with a signature certificate and audit trail. The service is private and invite-only (invite code). It is intended for personal use, not large-scale commercial use.
Legal standing of signatures
Signatures produced by the service are "simple" electronic signatures as defined by the Israeli Electronic Signature Law, 5761-2001. Such signatures are valid and enforceable for ordinary contracts — leases, NDAs, employment and service agreements, and the like. Their evidentiary strength rests on the audit trail, identity verification, and digital seal the service produces.
The service does not produce "secure" or "certified" electronic signatures within the meaning of the law, and is not a licensed certification authority.
Unsuitable documents
Do not use the service to sign wills or inheritance documents — these cannot be validly signed electronically under Israeli law. Certain regulated documents require a certified electronic signature from a licensed certification authority — it is the sender's responsibility to verify that a document is suitable for a simple electronic signature.
Sender responsibilities
Senders are responsible for the contents of documents they upload, for recipients' identities and details, and for choosing an appropriate document type. Using the service for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content, or for impersonation, is prohibited.
Audit trail & evidence retention
A complete audit trail is kept per document (timestamps, IP addresses, view/signature events, verifications). In line with Section 3A of the law, this trail is the evidence of the signing process and is retained even if the document is deleted — for the benefit of all parties.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided AS-IS, with no guarantee of continuous availability. The Operator is not a party to signed documents and bears no responsibility for their content, commercial validity, or fitness for the parties' purposes. The Operator's liability is in any case limited to the amount paid for the service (a free service — no monetary liability).
Termination & changes
The Operator may update these terms and terminate accounts that violate them. These terms are governed by Israeli law, with exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Israel.
